What to Expect
Stop at: Star Creek Falls
Become a scientist-in-training while exploring a world of wonder. Uncover the truth about ice and water as you venture up a wintery canyon to chase frozen waterfalls. Your experience will include a nature walk and science activities. You will begin your experience by meeting your guide at the trailhead near Crowsnest Pass. Once the paperwork and equipment are handed out, you will do a quick ice breaker (get it?). The ice walk is a gentle walk with some short steeper sections. You will make several stops along the way to discover the winter wonderland. The best parts of your experience will be walking through a beautiful canyon, listening to the water running below your feet, seeing ice features along the canyon, enjoying the experiments, and learning along the way. Once you are at the frozen waterfall, you will have time to take pictures, do some activities, and enjoy some yummy hot chocolate. You will then return to the trailhead.
