This is approximately an 8 hour sightseeing adventure. This beautiful scenic drive on the Sea To Sky Highway takes about two and a half hours each way. We will be making a few stops to enjoy breath taking views of water falls. Arriving in Whistler around lunch time. From then on, you will have time to dine and explore the beautiful Village or take the spectacular gondola ride to the top of Whistler Mountain. Once there you may transfer to the Peak to Peak gondola which is now the world's longest unsupported run between two mountains measuring 3 kilometers (1. 8 miles). ( If it is important, please check for Gondola closing dates between seasons for maintenance)

Mount Tantalus is located in the marine west coast climate zone. Most weather fronts originate in the Pacific Ocean, and travel east toward the Coast Mountains where they are forced upward by the range (Orographic lift), causing them to drop their moisture in the form of rain or snowfall. As a result, the Coast Mountains experience high precipitation, especially during the winter months in the form of snowfall. Temperatures can drop below −20 °C with wind chill factors below −30 °C.
