We will visit the iconic green swing bridge to discuss the town's early development before walking up Main Street, then back down to River Mill Park. Here, I will tell you the hidden stories, and explain how the Free Land and Homestead Act and the rugged Canadian Shield shifted our identity from fur-trading, to farming, to a tourism destination. Throughout the walk, I can provide you specific, local recommendations for the best coffee, dinner, and breakfast spots in town. You will leave with a deeper, more personal connection to Huntsville's past.
