What to Expect
Upon arrival at the base camp in Donnacona, you receive the complete equipment and are transported to the launch on the Jacques Cartier River. Once there, your Certified Guide provides a clear and precise safety briefing, explaining the essential instructions and the course of the descent.
The adventure begins immediately with dynamic rapids, offering sensations from the first meters. Rafting or inflatable kayaking, you progress through a spectacular shale canyon, bordered by cliffs reaching 75 meters, a landscape unique in Quebec. The guides ensure the safety and cohesion of the group and adapt the rhythm according to the participants.
Throughout the descent, breaks allow you to observe the canyon, ask questions to the Guide and enjoy the natural environment to the fullest. Depending on the water level, there may be additional supervised Things to do, such as swimming in rapids or cliff jumping.
The descent ends in Donnacona, where you return to the base camp. Photos included. No experience required.
