Framed by the region's signature limestone peaks and sub-alpine forest, this option focuses on glacial basin views – the ideal way to experience K-Country’s wilderness at a steady, observant pace. The day's adventure takes us onto Highway 40, south towards Highwood Pass – the highest paved road in Canada at 2,206m. Single lane in each direction and much quieter than the main highway to Banff, the drive along the route is world-class – offering panoramic mountain views on all sides and frequent wildlife sightings.
