Head out of the city to explore coastal forests, Garry Oak woodlands, wildflower meadows, and beaches. We'll keep an eye out for wildlife along the way and discover the area's unique natural history. From a gentle stroll in the woods, to a more challenging hike up one of the local mountains - you choose the pace. Easy - slower paced on mostly flat trails. Moderate - trails may be uneven with some steep sections. Challenging - longer trails with elevation gain. May have some steep/slippery sections.

We then go to the Butterfly Gardens, followed up with a local wine tasting at Church and State Winery. You will then have the option to have lunch at their Bistro, or we may have a simple lunch at the Red Barn Market where they make the best sandwiches on the island.
