Next, you’ll have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse). You’ll also have free time to explore the area. The tiny fishing village of Peggy’s Cove offers some small shops you can check out or you can grab a seat on one of the benches and enjoy the stunning ocean views.
Stop at: Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
End your exclusive, private tour with a visit to Peggy’s Cove, your guide will bring you back to Halifax to visit historic Citadel Hill. While here you will learn about the military history of the hill and see the Highlander re-enactment interpreters dressed in traditional uniforms from the 1800s.
