Stop at Backswamp Viewpoint to see calm wetlands where the still water reflects the surrounding mountains. It's a peaceful spot for photos, and you might see birds, beavers, or other wildlife along the water's edge.

Stop at Morant's Curve, one of the most famous photo spots in the Rockies. See the railway curving along the Bow River with the mountains behind it, and if you're lucky, catch a train passing through for the classic shot.

Stop at Samson Mall, the main spot in Lake Louise village, for lunch and a short rest. Pick up a meal, coffee, or treats and stretch your legs.

Stop at Emerald Lake, one of the most beautiful lakes in the Canadian Rockies. Enjoy views of its vivid colour, stroll along the lakeshore trail, and take in the mountains surrounding the lake.

Stop at Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park, where the powerful Kicking Horse River has carved a passage through solid rock. Watch the water rush through the narrow opening beneath the rock bridge and take photos from the viewing areas.

Stop at Crowfoot Glacier Viewpoint along the Icefields Parkway to see a glacier clinging to the side of the mountain. Learn how it got its name from its original crow's-foot shape and how it has changed over time.

Walk a short uphill trail to the Peyto Lake lookout near Bow Summit, the highest point on the Icefields Parkway. Look down on the brilliant turquoise lake, famous for its wolf-head shape, surrounded by mountains and valleys. It's one of the most photographed views in the Rockies.
