Handmade Fettuccine
What to Expect
Once you have made fresh pasta by hand, going back to the dried stuff feels like a betrayal. Fair warning: that is exactly what this class will do to you. Chef Hamzeh walks you through the whole process from scratch, combining flour, eggs, semolina and olive oil into a proper dough that you will knead, roll and cut into fettuccine the way it has always been done. Then comes the choice that makes this class genuinely your own: a vibrant fresh tomato sauce with basil, garlic, thyme and Italian seasoning, or a rich, velvety white sauce with cream, butter and Grana Padano that coats every strand of pasta exactly the way it should. Casual setting, zero pressure and a recipe you will absolutely be making again the moment you get home.
No experience needed. Just show up hungry.

Pasta Making Class With a Local Chef in Vancouver
CA$85There is something almost meditative about making pasta by hand. The mixing, the kneading, the rolling, the cutting. And then you finish it in a sauce you also made from scratch and suddenly the whole thing just clicks. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly class Chef Hamzeh walks you through making proper fettuccine from flour, eggs, semolina and olive oil before letting you take the wheel on the sauce. Go for a bright, herb-forward tomato sauce with basil, garlic and thyme, or a deeply comforting white sauce with cream, butter and Grana Padano. Either way you are eating something genuinely homemade at the end of it, which in Vancouver is always a good call. Simple ingredients, timeless technique and a meal that will make you wonder why you ever bought pasta from a box.
