Stop at: Lower Spiral Tunnels Viewpoint
It is one of the most bizarre feats of engineering to get the grade of a train line. The current two spiral tunnels where the railroad forms two spirals, crossing beneath itself twice, almost forming a figure eight, before continuing in the proper direction down the mountain.
Stop at: Emerald Lake
HiDdEn GeM oF RoCkIeS; Emerald Lake, located in Yoho National Park, Canada, enchants visitors with its striking emerald-green waters, reflecting the surrounding mountains and forests. The serene ambiance, coupled with the picturesque setting, makes it a haven for nature lovers and photographers alike. Discover the tranquility and beauty of Emerald Lake in the heart of the Rockies.
Stop at: Natural Bridge
OfTeN MissEd by IntErNaTioNaL ToUrIsTs Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park is a unique and fascinating natural formation. The bridge is formed by the erosion of the limestone rock by the rushing waters of the Kicking Horse River behind what was once a more standard waterfall. Over time, the constant flow of water over thousands of years wore away at the rock, creating a hole in the limestone behind the falls. As the hole grew larger, the river began to flow through it, creating the tunnel that we see today. The result is a beautiful and unique natural structure that is truly one of a kind, and is a must-see when visiting Yoho National Park.
Stop at: Wapta Falls
(Summer) Wapta Falls is a stunning waterfall located in Yoho National Park British Columbia. It is the largest waterfall on the Kicking Horse River standing 18 meters high and stretching 107 meters wide. This impressive size makes it one of the most remarkable sights in the Canadian Rockies. Visitors to the park often find themselves captivated by the powerful flow of water and the beautiful scenery surrounding the falls. Wapta Falls is a must-see destination for nature lovers and anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Canadian wilderness. it is even more beautiful in the winter when the ice freezes over and the surrounding peaks are covered in snow. There is a Hike to this place for aout 2.5 KM. Can be changed with other attractions based on the trail conditions.
Stop at: Takakkaw Falls
(Summer)Takakkaw Falls is a must-see attraction in Yoho National Park. You can easily reach the falls with a short 10 to 15-minute walk from the car park. This makes it accessible for families and those who may not want to hike for long distances. Takakkaw Falls is a truly spectacular sight standing at an impressive height of 373 meters. This makes it one of the tallest single-drop waterfalls in Canada. The name "Takakkaw" comes from the Cree word that means "wonderful " reflecting the beauty of this natural wonder. The beauty of the falls and the surrounding scenery make this a perfect spot for nature lovers and photographers alike. This is only accessile from June-Oct. Will be replaced to other attractions in Winters.
Stop at: Peyto Lake
(Optional) The incredibly shaped glacier-fed Peyto Lake is one of the most visited and photographed lakes in the Canadian Rockies for good reason. During the summer, glacial rock flour flows into the lake and these suspended rock particles give the lake its bright, turquoise colour. We'll take an easy walk to view the lake from Bow Summit, 2,088 metres (6,800 feet) above sea level. Bow Summit is the highest point on the Icefields Parkway and is the highest elevation crossed by a public road in Canada.
Stop at: Lake Louise
Lake Louise is a stunning alpine lake located in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Known for its turquoise waters and breathtaking mountain backdrop, it is a must-visit destination. Although parking can be limited, as a guide, I can drop off and pick up guests to maximize their time there. In 60 minutes, visitors can take in the awe-inspiring beauty, walk along the lakeshore, and capture memorable photos.
