Just 15 minutes from Port Hardy, our Keogh River Estuary Kayak Tour begins at airport beach. We'll paddle 3 km along the coast, exploring vibrant kelp beds and tide pools filled with marine life. The highlight is at the mouth of Keogh River, where we'll witness Black Bears fishing for Pink Salmon as the tide rolls in – a crucial food source for their winter hibernation. This tour offers stunning coastal scenery, peaceful paddling, and a unique chance to observe British Columbia's wild beauty and nature's intricate balance up close.
