During summer, visitors can enjoy peaceful lakeside walks, wildlife sightings, and reflections of Crowfoot Mountain on the calm water.
Stop at: Crowfoot Glacier
Crowfoot Glacier Viewpoint is a spectacular roadside stop located along the Icefields Parkway near Bow Lake in Banff National Park. The viewpoint offers incredible views of the famous Crowfoot Glacier, which hangs dramatically on the side of Crowfoot Mountain. The glacier was originally named for its unique three-toed shape resembling a crow’s foot, although one “toe” has gradually melted over time due to natural glacial retreat.
