If the weather and season are on our side, we'll even catch a breathtaking sunset over Halifax Harbour before watching the waterfront transform under the glow of the evening lights—one of the most magical times to experience the city.

Framed by the stunning Halifax City Hall, this iconic square feels especially magical after dark—perfect for soaking in the atmosphere, hearing local stories, and capturing unforgettable photos of the city lights.
Stop at: Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
As we arrive at Grand Parade Square, you’ll see the stunning Citadel Hill glowing against the night sky—a view you can truly appreciate only on an evening tour. Here, I’ll share how this historic fortress came to life, its powerful role through wartime history, and the fascinating stories that surround it. You’ll also hear the haunting local legend of the “ghost lady,” said to still wander in search of her lost love—one of Halifax’s most intriguing nighttime tales.

Get ready to be amazed by this beautiful church! It survived the Halifax Explosion, and I’ll show you a special artifact it kept from that day. Plus, be brave because we will be meeting a ghost in this church. Get ready for it.

We’ll stop outside the impressive Halifax City Hall, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, beautifully lit up at night. Here you’ll hear fascinating local stories—including the legendary tale of Harry Houdini’s daring escape that once captivated Halifax and still sparks curiosity today. It’s a perfect blend of history, mystery, and great photo opportunities in the heart of the city.

We'll wander down lively Argyle Street, Halifax's entertainment district, where patios, pubs, cocktail bars, and live music venues fill the street with energy long after the sun goes down. It's the perfect place to soak up the city's nightlife, discover local favorites, and get insider tips on where to enjoy a great drink, fresh seafood, or live East Coast music after the tour.
