As we leave Calgary behind, you’ll pass through the charming town of Cochrane, known as the "Gateway to the Rockies." After winding through the foothills, we'll make our first official stop in charming Canmore at A&W—a perfect introduction to Canadian flavors with the Rockies as your backdrop. This 30-minute break lets you fuel up on their famous root beer, breakfast platters, or coffee while soaking in those first spectacular mountain views of your adventure.

Now comes your first chance to experience Banff's breathtaking wilderness up close! You'll have 1 hour and 15 minutes to hike the scenic trail to Johnston Canyon's Lower Falls at your own pace. After your morning of natural wonders, enjoy a leisurely 90 minutes exploring the Town of Banff. Stroll down picturesque Banff Avenue, where charming shops and inviting restaurants nestle against a stunning mountain backdrop. This is your chance to savour local flavours—perhaps try Alberta's famous Bison Burger or treat yourself to Cows Ice Cream, consistently voted Canada's best (their creamy "Moo Crunch" is a crowd favourite!).

Before we begin our journey back to Calgary, we'll pause at the thunderous Bow Falls for a spectacular 20-minute photo stop. Watch the mighty Bow River cascade over layered rock formations, where the powerful rush of water creates a dramatic natural display. This iconic waterfall—famously featured in Hollywood films—offers one last chance to capture Banff's raw beauty, with the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel gracing the backdrop
