What to Expect
Please arrive 30 minutes earlier than your schedule lesson time. The team will welcome you and get you suited up with all the gear—wetsuit, harness, helmet, and lifejacket and kiteboarding gear.
You'll head out right away by boat to a quiet, open area of Howe Sound. There, you’ll learn to control the kite, body drag through the water, and start practicing your water starts. With one-on-one coaching and steady wind conditions, you'll progress quickly in a fun and supportive environment.
Please note that kiteboarding is a wind dependent sport and your lesson time could change to reflect the wind start time.

Once the control tower gives your sled the green light, track crew will give you a push, and you, your pilot, and your two fellow participants are off! As you will accelerate down the track, lean into the corners to assist your steering pilot in reaching top speeds of 125+ km/hr in the final corner. The uphill outrun will slow you to a stop at the finish dock, where the track crew will assist you to exit the sled. High five with your crew and line up for your commemorative photo.
