As part of your tour, you'll have the chance to explore the picturesque town of Banff with plenty of time and savour a leisurely lunch at one of its top spots. While in town, you can visit Banff Avenue's unique shops and boutiques. For lunch, choose from an array of delightful options, from cozy fireside bistros to scenic mountain-view patios. This stop in Banff adds a touch of culture, local flair, and delicious cuisine to your adventure.
Stop at: Surprise Corner
This iconic stop in Banff offers a truly breathtaking view of the grand Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, "Castle on The Mountain". As you arrive at this viewpoint, you'll be greeted by an unexpectedly stunning scene that's earned its name. It's an ideal spot for photography.
Pass by: Vermilion Lakes
The Vermilion Lakes viewpoint, just before reaching Banff town. Here, the tranquil waters perfectly reflect the majestic Canadian Rockies, especially the iconic Mount Rundle. With its stunning play of colours, light, and rich wildlife, it's an ideal spot to capture the beauty of the Rockies and create memorable photographs.
Stop at: Bow Falls
In the town of Banff is a natural wonder offering breathtaking views. This iconic waterfall, located along the Bow River, stands out in autumn by painting a vibrant mountain backdrop with trees donning shades of red, orange, and gold. In winter, the falls transform into a serene and snowy landscape, providing a magical setting.
Stop at: Johnston Canyon
From October 15 to June 1st we visit Johnston Canyon. Follow the suspended catwalks to witness stunning waterfalls, crazy landscapes and a turquoise creek.
Stop at: Lake Minnewanka
A scenic drive from Banff, this stunning lake shines brightest in the summer when it replaces Surprise Corner on our route. Its clear blue waters reflect the towering peaks all around, creating picture-perfect views. As Banff’s largest lake, it’s the perfect spot to soak up the calm beauty of the Rockies and enjoy a true mountain escape. (SUMMER)
