Located along the Icefields Parkway near Bow Summit, it's easily accessible via a short hike to a panoramic viewpoint. The lake's vibrant color comes from glacial rock flour, especially vivid in summer. A favorite among photographers and nature lovers, Peyto Lake offers breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies and is one of the most iconic sights in the park.

Stop at: Crowfoot Glacier
The Crowfoot Glacier, perched on the slopes of Crowfoot Mountain, offers a striking view right from the roadside along the Icefields Parkway.
