What to Expect
we meet at the Kelowna Fruit Stand, 15 minutes before the start time.
There we gear up & have a safety briefing. You will have a quick chat with your guide to discuss the tour progression, equipment and safety.
Canyon access: You will follow your guide on a 25 min drive to the canyon. (You will need your own transportation)
Hike up: To the upper entrance of the canyon (10-15 minutes).
Canyon descent: We spend between 2.5-4 hours inside the canyon, depending on the size and ability of the group.
Hike back: 20-30 minutes up-hill
This activity is 5-7 hours long
Closed toe shoes (light hiking or running shoes that can get wet) are mandatory and not provided for this activity

You will meet at the Kelowna fruit stand and coffee parking lot 15 minutes before the tour starts time. Look for the cargo trailer on your right when you arrive. After meeting your guides and having the safety briefing, you will have to drive your own vehicle to the trailhead.

This is a fully guided 2-day backcountry canoe adventure. No experience is necessary, minimal to no portaging, suitable for everyone. This trip isn't a backcountry slog- our main focus is time spent at camp, so this is especially perfect for young families or folks who have limited time and want to relax. I highly recommend this trip if you have young children! Our Keji Canoe Trip will begin with a rendezvous at our headquarters at Jake's Landing. We'll repack your items in our waterproofs, have a quick lunch (we provide this!) and then take off into the wilderness. On hot days we might swim from a canoe flotilla, or catch some shade and a snack under an old growth hemlock tree.
