We’re off to Tofino bright and early! After a short drive, you’ll have the whole day to soak up the magic of this chill west coast surf town. It’s totally your day, so you get to choose your own adventure: Go whale or bear watching, Try your hand at surfing, Explore the waters by kayak,…or just wander the local shops, art galleries, and beaches. Heads up: optional activities fill up fast, so pre-booking is a smart move. Want something low-key and free? Join your guide for a scenic walk to Tonquin Beach, just a short trail from downtown. Or rent a bike and cruise over to the famous Tacofino food truck for a next-level lunch (trust us, it's worth it). The evening is all yours — chill at the beach, grab a drink in town, or just watch the sun dip below the Pacific.
Ucluelet to Vancouver: Beach Vibes, Sweet Treats & the Journey Home
Stop at: Long Beach
Start your final day with a visit to the iconic Long Beach — the biggest and longest stretch of sand in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. It’s the perfect spot for a morning stroll, some wave watching, or just soaking in those last west coast vibes.

Once in Nanaimo, we’ll take a walk along the scenic Harbourfront — a great chance to stretch your legs before the ferry. Got a sweet tooth? Don’t miss the chance to try an authentic Nanaimo Bar, a local classic that totally lives up to the hype.

In the evening, we’ll hop on the ferry back to Vancouver and wrap up the trip. Expect to arrive downtown around 9:00pm, depending on traffic — tired, happy, and loaded with great memories.
