Aurora hunting means taking a bus to various lakeside or roadside parking areas to wait for the appearance of the Northern Lights. The advantage of this activity is that the photography backgrounds vary, and in overcast conditions, one can increase their chances of witnessing the Aurora by heading to areas with thinner clouds. However, the disadvantage is that passing vehicle headlights can cause significant light pollution. Additionally, the cold winter temperatures, small bus space, low temperatures, and lack of restroom facilities can make the experience uncomfortable.
