Pass by: Charlottetown

Pass by: Confederation Trail
The Confederation Trail runs tip-to-tip across Prince Edward Island and is best explored on foot or bicycle. Built on the decommissioned railway line, the main trail is 273 kilometres from west to east - Tignish to Elmira. Branch trails run through small towns and communities including the heart of Charlottetown. The gradients along this rolled stone dust trail never exceed two per cent making it suitable for all fitness levels.
Pass by: Province House National Historic Site
Province House is the location of the 1864 conference that laid the foundation for Canada and is home to the PEI Legislative Assembly. It is the second oldest legislative assembly in Canada.
Pass by: St. Dunstan's Basilica
Built in 1913 it is the Basilica for the Diocese of Prince Edward Island.
Pass by: Government House
Known as "Fanningbank", it is the home of PEI's Lieutenant Governor.
Pass by: Victoria Row
Rebuilt in the 1880s after a devastating fire destroyed a large area of the City. It is a designated National Heritage Streetscape and named after Queen Victoria the Monarch of Canada.
Pass by: Confederation Centre of the Arts
Confederation Centre is the hub of PEI's arts scene. It was built to commemorate the 1864 Charlottetown Conference.
Pass by: Charlottetown City Hall
City Hall was built in the 1880s to accommadate the City's Council Chambers, administration and the Fire and Police Departments.
Pass by: Beaconsfield Historic House
Beaconsfield was built for James and Edith Peake and was one of Charlottetown's most elegant homes. Today it houses the PEI Heritage Foundation.
Stop at: Charlottetown
This is a 150 +/- acre greenspace in the heart of Charlottetown. It served as a Government of Canada experimental farm from 1959 till the 1990's.
Stop at: University of Prince Edward Island
This is a small liberal arts university with inner bigness! It is home to the Atlantic Veterinary College, PEI Schools of Medicine, Nursing and Kinesiology as well as the faclties of Education, Applied Engineering and more.
