Experience two unforgettable nights in Yellowknife designed to give you the best chance of seeing the Northern Lights. On Day 1, you will head out on a 4-hour Aurora Hunt beyond the city limits, searching for the brightest and most active spots as the colours dance across the night sky. On Day 2, you will enjoy a warm and comfortable viewing experience at Arctic Aurora Camp, complete with cozy cabins or tipis, knowledgeable guides, and hot drinks while you wait for the lights to appear. For your stay, we can book you at Chateau Nova or Nova Inn, and if rooms are not available at the hotels we will arrange a comfortable Bed and Breakfast for you. You will have 2 room choices to choose from. One room offers a double bed. The other room offers two single beds. This package is designed to give you comfort, convenience, and the best possible Northern Lights experience.

Day 1

Night Aurora Hunting Adventure (4 Hours)

Stop at: Yellowknife

When you arrive in Yellowknife, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your Hotel or BnB for check-in. In the evening, you will head outside the city limits, away from Yellowknife’s light pollution, for a 4-hour adventure focused on searching for and watching the aurora borealis. This first night is all about tracking the best spots and enjoying the colours as they appear across the sky.

Day 2

Aurora Viewing Experience at Arctic Aurora Camp

Stop at: Yellowknife

Your second night takes you to the Arctic Aurora Camp for a memorable experience under the Northern Lights. The camp is located in an excellent viewing area and offers the perfect setting for watching the aurora. Guides will welcome you, provide transportation, and share helpful information about the lights. Before the viewing begins, there is a safety briefing. You can relax in a warm cabin, a traditional canvas tipi, or a modern glass tipi. Hot soup and warm drinks are provided while you wait for the aurora to appear. At the end of the night, you will be driven back to your hotel with lasting memories of this special experience.
