What to Expect
Experience the ancient art of blacksmithing as you learn to Forge your very own piece of ironwork to take home! Choose between a selection of simple beginner's projects (samples are provided) and create your own custom keepsake with step-by-step instructions from the Artist. Our beginner projects can be modified to suit a variety of ages and abilities so there is something for everyone!
What's Included
- All tools and materials required to craft your piece of ironwork are included in the class fees. (Each participant will craft their own piece of ironwork to take home)
- Personal safety gear (safety gloves and glasses) are available to borrow from the studio
- Free safety equipment can be borrowed for the duration of the class, brand new safety glasses, gloves, and earplugs can also be purchased from the studio

All workshops meet at our Studio in Wainfleet, located on Hwy 3 just West of Chambers Corners. Our studio is nestled in beautiful rural Niagara, surrounded by greenhouses and farmers fields.

Learn to forge in fire as you heat up a piece of metal and hammer it into a unique keepsake with help from the artist. After the class, guests are also welcome to tour our on-site gallery of wood and metal artwork and handcrafted gifts!

Photography & Walk at Night
CA$51Enjoy a 1 hour excursion to Vancouver’s iconic location - Gastown. Led by an experienced photographer and tour guide, you’ll learn to take amazing photos of the locations’ best spots and learn their history, especially at night time. You will walk through the cobble-stoned streets of Gastown with its famous Steam Clock as well as other hidden gems. You’ll end the tour with a glimpse of the city’s best dining and watering holes, as well as recommendations for other spots perfect for night photography. For photos, we'll cover techniques like long exposure for DSLR cameras as well night shots with camera phones. Alternatively, we can do photo shoots instead of learning photography if that's your interest. The best camera to bring are DSLRs but you’re also free to use your camera phone. Comfortable walking shoes and layered clothing, camera (any kind) and a sense of adventure required!
