Bridge, Lighthouses & Some Treats
CA$136.85Enjoy this half day tour along PEI’s south shore. Departing from the Charlottetown waterfront, you will see old Charlottetown and hear about its important role in the founding of Canada. From the city, we head west into communities of the farmlands and tidy rural homes on our way to Victoria-by-the-Sea. This quaint artisan village holds many treasures, from a pretty range lighthouse to craft shops, the wharf, cafes and a chocolate shop. Leaving Victoria, you will see more of PEI’s red sandstone shore and the Confederation Bridge comes into view. This record-setting structure is an engineering marvel. We stop at the foot of the bridge for an up-close look, and another lighthouse. One more drive on scenic road to the Seacow Head Lighthouse where you can climb to the top for another view or stop in to their cafe for a beverage.
